FOR CHILDREN
An examination by a specialist in paediatric surgery begins with a conversation with the patient and the parent. It is followed by a clinical examination, insight into the medical documentation, instructions on further necessary diagnostic procedures and operative procedure, depending on the nature of the problem.
In our institution we also perform all types of minor surgical procedures (for instance, discissions of short tongue frenulum, short frenulum of prepuce, separation of the prepuce and preputial adhesion, removal of atheroma, nevus, lipoma, ingrown toenail and warts treatment, etc.).
Procedures are performed under local anaesthesia, and if the child wants it – during the procedure the parent can also be present during the procedure.
We can also provide a second opinion on the diagnosis and treatment of your child.
