PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is scientifically based, short-term, structured, problem-oriented, proven effective psychotherapy, which respects the individual. The simple concept is that our thoughts affect our emotions, and they affect our behavior. The basis of this therapy is a change in the way of thinking, with the aim of changing behavior and benefiting our health and functioning.

It requires an active relationship with the client, who needs to practice the techniques adopted in the sessions until the next meeting.

An integrative approach to the treatment of various chronic diseases, including cancers, is hard to imagine without this important link in the healing chain.

CBT therapy is extremely effective for anxiety disorders, eating disorders, learning difficulties, habit and addiction disorders, and general health problems.

The number of sessions is individual. There can be from 4 to 16 or more. It is good to have continuity once a week. Session duration 50 minutes.

Mindfulness is a simple mental exercise that significantly reduces stress and brings numerous benefits for physical and mental health.

There are numerous studies on the positive effects of conscious presence on an individual’s psychological health. Conscious presence has become an almost indispensable technique in modern psychotherapy when it comes to reducing stress, treating anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders in general.

Among other things, conscious presence raises self-confidence, improves concentration, improves sleep, develops psychological resistance to physical pain.
Thoughts do not reflect our reality, they are always in the past or in the future, they are transient and we can control them, instead of them controlling us. This realization has a liberating effect.

Conscious presence in the present moment means that we simply exist in this very moment, and accept what we experience – now and here – as what it is. We use only those mindfulness approaches that are based on scientific research and are devoid of any religious or spiritual context of interference, reasoning, prejudice, fear, or judgment.
