If you are pregnant, and the gynaecologist has established a fetal abnormality which will have to be surgically treated immediately after the birth of the child (gastroschisis, omphalocele, diaphragmatic hernia, etc.), schedule an appointment with the paediatric surgeon at the Holistera Polyclinic. At the counselling you will be informed in detail regarding the mentioned anomaly and prepared for procedures which follow after the birth of your child. In a situation which is stressful for both the parents and the baby, knowing the details of the problem will help you face all the challenges which await you. Our recommendation is that both parents attend the counselling.
